This past weekend, Grandstand attended the Parkville, MO Microbrew Fest. It was their 10th annual brew festival and my fourth personal trip to this great event! Grandstand helped sponsor this event by providing the attendees with their logo t-shirts as well as the 5 oz. tasting glasses that came in handy for the generous pours of beer that were handed out.
Located only about 45 minutes from Grandstand’s location in Lawrence, and with so many of our customers in attendance, 
pouring their delicious beers, I don’t know that I could ever find an excuse not to take in the fest! It increases in size year after year and even with the unseasonably damp and chilly weather it was still sold out. From the larger of craft breweries like Green Flash, Odell and Boulevard, to smaller local breweries such as Kirkwood Station, Peace Tree Brewing, Free State and Blue Bloods, the event was a huge success. IPA’s, imperials, American lagers, and sweet stouts were shared and enjoyed by all. I would like to say how happy I was to see O’Fallon Brewing in attendance again with their water fountain of beer – and I’m also glad to report that all drinking fountain rules were followed!
It was another enjoyable, exciting, and successful day in Parkville. We can’t wait to return again next year!
